The economy of Singapore grew 3.8 percent on a quarter-on-quarter seasonally-adjusted annualised basis in the three months to March 2019, rebounding from a 0.8 percent contraction in the previous period and beating market consensus of 2.3 percent, final data showed.

 

Growth was led by construction and services. GDP Growth Rate in Singapore averaged 6.73 percent from 1975 until 2019, reaching an all time high of 36.10 percent in the first quarter of 2010 and a record low of -13.40 percent in the fourth quarter of 2008.
